Honduran Fried Chicken

After the baleadas, the second most traditional dish in Honduras is Fried Chicken, also know as “Pollo Chuco“. This dish has his origin in the North Coast due to banana plantations, remember that Honduras had an image of banana republic,.

Bananas are a main crop in Honduras due to that tajadas or plantains are highly consumed for the majority of Honduran people. Tajadas are served as sides in many dishes as grilled meats, sea food or fried meats. In fact, I really love tajadas! try them!
